Seoul Summit Opens Investment Round for Korea's Next Culture-Tech Wave
Founders behind the Seoul Summit are inviting a small group of strategic investors to back a new platform bridging K-entertainment, fandom commerce, and creator tooling.
At this year's Seoul Summit, organizers announced a founding investment round aimed at accelerating the launch of a cross-border venture connecting Korean creators, agencies, and international fandoms. The round is being led directly by the founding team and is open to a limited number of aligned partners.
The initiative focuses on three pillars: fandom-first commerce, AI-assisted content localization, and live experiences that bring global audiences to Seoul. Early conversations with agencies, broadcasters, and platform partners are already underway.
Interested investors are asked to reach out directly to the founders to request the deck, discuss ticket size, and schedule an intro call in Seoul or remotely.
Why now
Korean entertainment is no longer a regional export — it's a global operating system for youth culture. K-pop tours sell out on three continents, K-dramas dominate streaming charts in Latin America and Southeast Asia, and Korean beauty and fashion set the pace for Gen Z commerce. Yet the infrastructure connecting Korean creators to those global fandoms is still fragmented across agencies, licensors, and one-off platforms.
What we're building
Seoul Summit's founding company is building a unified platform where fans discover, discuss, and buy — and where Korean creators and agencies get one trusted distribution and monetization layer. Three product pillars:
- Fandom-first commerce. Official merch drops, ticketing, and creator collaborations with built-in group buying and international shipping.
- AI-assisted localization. Real-time subtitling, article translation, and community moderation across 10+ languages, tuned for Korean-entertainment context.
- Live experiences in Seoul. Fan tours, studio visits, and summit-style events that turn casual viewers into recurring travelers and subscribers.
Use of funds
- ~45% product & engineering — commerce stack, localization pipeline, mobile app.
- ~25% content & partnerships — agency deals, licensing, editorial team.
- ~20% growth — paid acquisition in SEA, LATAM, and North America.
- ~10% operations, legal, and Seoul HQ.
Who we're looking for
Investors with real exposure to consumer, creator economy, cross-border commerce, or Asia media. Strategic angels from K-pop, K-drama, gaming, or beauty are especially welcome. We are not looking for passive check-writers — we want partners who will open one door.
